Why has SATO created a shop?
There are many ways organisations can collaborate with SATO. When interacting with individuals, we often get asked: “how can I get involved?” Therefore, we have created an online retail store called the SATO Shop that allows individuals to take action. By purchasing quality items and gifts, anyone can contribute to closing the sanitation and hygiene global gap.
We also aim to increase the understanding of SATO as a business and a solution to one of the world’s largest challenges which is a lack of affordable and appealing sanitation and hygiene options for millions of people. The SATO Shop makes it simple and easy for anyone to contribute.
How are the proceeds of my purchase spent?
All proceeds from your purchase will upgrade toilets for children in Africa and Asia, as part of The School Toilet Enhancement Programme (STEP), an initiative that improves toilets in Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria and Bangladesh. Through STEP, we are aiming to reduce one of the barriers to school attendance – inadequate sanitation and hygiene facilities. How sustainable are your products?
All our products are made with responsibly sourced and sustainable materials. We offer a range of tee-shirts that are made of 100% certified organic ring-spun cotton. Organic cotton is naturally grown without any use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers and has not been genetically modified (non-GMO). Organic cotton is harvested and produced in a way that benefits the environment, creating biodiversity and promoting good health and quality of life for farmers and their communities.We work with suppliers that offer high-quality products that we hope will be enjoyed and used over and over again for a long period of time.
How are the products manufactured?
SATO works with vendors who have a large network of local production hubs so that we can produce what you need, where and when you need it. We produce your merchandise near the end destination. This dramatically reduces waste, emissions, delivery times and costs. Better for the people and the planet. Because your products are made locally and on demand, waste, transportation distances, and carbon emissions are greatly reduced.
What happens if I have a problem with my delivery?

What is your return policy and quality guarantee?
